Aaron Lecklider teaches American Studies at the University of Massachusetts Boston. He is the author of Love’s Next Meeting: The Forgotten History of Homosexuality and the Left in American Culture and Inventing the Egghead: The Battle over Brainpower in American Culture.
Dr. Joseph Plaster is Curator in Public Humanities and Director of the Winston Tabb Special Collections Research Center at Johns Hopkins University. His research and teaching combine archival, oral history, and public humanities methods to examine the world-making practices of marginalized publics in the United States, with a focus on intersections of gender, sexuality, and race.
